Teofilo S. Tabunan III is a native from the Province of Cagayan, Philippines and graduated with a B.S. degree in Information Technology from International Schools of Asia and the Pacific. From then on, he took the programming path putting his career running for more than five years.

Employed as a PHP Programmer with United Nations University, he enjoys the freedom to innovate and exchange ideas within a dynamic environment.

Visual Basic and FoxPro were his first languages. And because of the heightened demand for web development jobs during that tenure, he decided to shift to PHP programming using Joomla, Codeigniter, Magento and other tools.

With the uprising Facebook popularity with clients, he started creating Facebook applications and played with the APIs’ of few well renowned local companies.

Mid 2010, WordPress began to soar high in terms of use, lots of companies wanted to recreate their websites using this platform, then he started his involvement into WordPress community.

Along the midst of his career, he had a chance to work with known WordPress developers around the world, which in return shaped him with better experience.<

He is currently sharing development ideas with his UNU team and together they continue to collaborate brilliant thoughts for the benefit of the UNU family.

He still considers a huge space for improvement and he is merely looking forward a better information system that will help UNU carry out their purposes.
