Speaking on the concepts of internationalisation and global interdependence, Bill Clinton, former President of the United States of America, delivered the third U Thant Distinguished Lecture at UN House on 21 May 2002 in Tokyo. Clinton shared his personal views on globalisation in the twenty-first century, addressing questions of global poverty, climate change, debt relief and the increase in HIV/AIDS throughout the world.
