Lecture by Mme Mongella on “How to keep Governments Accountable: the Role of Parliaments”

Mme Mongella's talk will highlight the role of Parliaments, and how best they can contribute to keeping Governments accountable. The United Nations University (UNU) and the African Diplomatic Corps in Tokyo (ADC) are jointly organizing this public event, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

The lecture by Mme Mongella will start at 16.30hours. Following Mme. Mongella’s lecture, there will be brief comments by Professor Patrick Chabal of King's College, London University, and a question and answer session moderated by UNU Rector Hans van Ginkel.
