25 October 2007, Elizabeth Rose HallIn his lecture, Minister Store will focus on how actual global interdependence presents policymakers with new challenges and opportunities, including urgent policy issues that cut across the traditional boundaries between the national and international, such as climate change, migration, global health, and humanitarian imperatives (e.g. cluster munitions). He will further highlight how new initiatives are launched to meet these challenges and pave the way for sustainable global development, international solidarity and informed self-interest.
Minister Store will also share his views with the audience on the need for a new agenda for governing interdependence (e.g. UN reform).
