UNU on CNN International

Year 2005

Fourth in an annual series of public service announcements on CNN International, this current PSA highlights UNU's work on the theme of technology in aid of the development process and celebrates 30 years of training and research and contributing to global development. The PSA airs worldwide on CNNi six to nine times a day from June to December 2005.

Year 2001

A second series of television public service announcements giving a general introduction to UNU and its international network of research and training centres and programmes was broadcast to television viewers worldwide six to nine times a day until February 2002, thanks to CNN.

The objective of the campaign was to attract viewers to the UNU website to learn more about the organization and its affiliated institutes and programmes.
