Zaw Phyoe received a BS degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Computer Sciences and Technology, Myanmar in 1994 and has since completed numerous professional certifications in Windows, Cisco, Veritas, and Checkpoint.
He has vast hands-on experience in network engineering and systems administration. He has worked in various capacities as a systems engineer, trainer, senior consultant and manager in the private sector. Prior to joining UNU, Zaw Phyoe was the Professional Service Manager at one of the Microsoft certified training centres in Thailand. As he is Microsoft, Veritas and CheckPoint certified trainer, he conducted professional training courses in Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.
Zaw Phyoe is primarily responsible for operational excellence of the ICT infrastructure and helpdesk escalation management. In this capacity, he participates in the support of mission critical technical infrastructure resources and services.
